The world is full of good people. There are doctors and teachers, philanthropists and missionaries, volunteers and caregivers. The comparison we should be making isn’t with other people, but with God. If we aren’t as perfect as He is, we have missed the mark—we have sinned. And the truth is we are all sinners. But here’s the best news: if we confess our sin, God will forgive us. Not only that, He will wash us completely of anything that is not good if we let Him.
